About Me

I am a third year engineering student at the University of Toronto and am studying Biomedical Engineering with a certificate in artificial intelligence. I have always been drawn towards helping those around me, and biomedical engineering excites me as it enables me to do this at a large scale and in novel ways. In particular, I am fascinated by the intersection of neuroscience and biomedical technology which I most recently pursued through my work at the Brain Computer Interface for Kids Lab. Some of my favourite university courses have been related to physiology, electrical circuits, statistics, and engineering design.

In my program, I am grateful to have the experience of working with peers who have diverse engineering interests from sustainable aerospace to artificial intelligence to genetic engineering.

Outside of engineering and research, I love exploring the area around me. Whether it be backpacking in the Rocky Mountains with friends or meeting new people who are also searching for waves to surf on the Great Lakes, trying new activities always brings me joy. In my free time I also enjoy painting and experimenting with new mediums of art. I am a field hockey player, amature beekeeper, and enthusiast of biking to campus through rain, shine or snow.
